OZWALD BOATENG (DVD Release Nov. 9, 2012). This London based designer has been branded as the Coolest Man On The Planet! On Friday, November 2, 2012, the ACADEMY OF ART UNIVERSITY in San Francisco hosted an ‘exclusive’ pre-release showing of A Man’s Story - A Documentary Film - OZWALD BOATENG.

Mr. Boateng began designing menswear at the young age of 16 and was the youngest tailor on legendary SAVILE ROW at the age of 28. From having 100 models in just one fashion show to designing for Givenchy, OZWALD BOATENG is expanding the high demand for his ‘one of a kind tailored men’s suits’ by opening 50 stores globally within the next year.

This film documentary captures defining moments in BOATENG’s career from the rebuilding after his studio was robbed of more than 70 couture suits to his thought process behind the making of the ‘best fit of a suit for the male body’.

His story is an amazing testament of passion, intuition and the power of having a dream.  Many would say if you’re not wearing BOATENG you’re not dressed in the best.
